Candidates we are looking for

Experienced Recruiters

Our Principal Consultants can earn upwards of £60k per year.

People with Energy has a structured and transparent career path and we are looking for experienced recruiters to join our team. In addition to the high rates of pay + commission, there is an EMI (share option) scheme that you can take part in.

If you are looking to escape the confines and expectations of the urban recruiting game, then a job working alongside the experienced team at PwE could be just what you need: an attractive work location and high standard of living for lower costs.

Trainee Recruiters

Trainees willing to learn on the job can expect a starting income of £22k.

Working in recruitment services requires refined communication and sales skills. In your role as a trainee at People with Energy you will learn how to deal with candidates, hire managers in the UK and internationally, and handle a mixture of marketing, contract and payroll enquiries.

We are looking for problem-solvers with strong goal-orientation, great communication skills and commercial understanding. You’ll get great training (leading to an internationally recognised qualification), the most up-to-date tech tools, and you’ll be working with high-flyers in the high-growth renewables market.

What’s in it for you?

Working for People with Energy comes with a host of benefits:

Attractive salary plus commission

Recruitment is a sales job and we have a clear Career path with transparent pay and expectations. Trainees can expect a starting income of £22k and Principal Consultants can earn upwards of £60k per year.

High-growth sector

the renewable energy market is not only high-growth, it is absolutely central to government strategy. Having started in the oil and gas sector, we have a strong track record in renewable wind energy and an eye on the nuclear sector. This means that many of our clients are committed to long-term agreements and we continue to grow.

Attractive location

Life in Norfolk and Suffolk suits people who are tired of the frenetic pace of urban living. The Coast, the Broads and many waymarked hiking and cycle paths provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor leisure. House prices and rentals are on the rise but still significantly cheaper than London orbital.

Structured training

New trainees have the opportunity to take the internationally recognised REC Level 3 diploma in Recruitment Practice. We also invest in ongoing development for our staff from acknowledged industry experts.

Share option scheme

We want our team to benefit in the short-term and the long term from their efforts. So staff are eligible to take a stake in the company via our share option scheme.

LinkedIn Richard Jeffery
Richard Jeffery Director Why did you join PwE and from what background?

I joined PWE in 2007 in order to return to technical recruitment after having worked in a commercial role for four years since moving back to Norwich from London where I worked in Mechanical & Electrical recruitment for the construction industry.

What knowledge and skills have you gained from working here?

I have learnt a great deal, initially about the Oil & Gas sector, but over recent years as offshore wind has taken off it’s been fascinating to learn about this exciting sector which has such importance to the future of the planet.

What’s the best aspect of the job?

I enjoy dealing with people, I always have and I think that’s essential for anyone who works in recruitment. We have a great team here and it feels like a family more than work colleagues.

What do you hope for in the future?

We’ve won some large and exciting contracts in the last few years and are developing our managed service offering which we see as crucial to the future of the business, it’s something different and exciting and a chance to do something slightly different for me which I am relishing.
