Our client has won a long-term contract to provide Asset Integrity Management on the Halfaya Oil Field Facility in Southern Iraq. To help deliver this contract, our consultants are supporting them with the recruitment of candidates to fill seven roles. These include:

• Senior Asset Integrity Management Engineer
  
• Senior Reliability Centred Maintenance Engineer
  
• Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer
  
• Senior Electrical Engineer
  
• Senior Pressure Systems Integrity Management Engineer
  
• Senior Well Integrity Management Engineer
  
• Senior Pipeline Integrity Management Engineer

Who Are We Looking for?

The successful candidates can expect to undertake work in Iraq on a rotational basis – 28 days on/28 days off. Further work is available during your time back in the UK, either based at your home office or at our client’s premises. 

Candidates should have: 

• At least 5 years’ experience of working in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
  
• 10 years’ experience of interfacing with other disciplines in design and/or design review.
  
• Experience of working with appropriate International Codes and Standards.
  
• A detailed knowledge of their discipline, including design, manufacture, operation and maintenance.

What You Can Expect in Return

These contracts will run for 3-4 years. Full risk assessments for travel to the region and facility have been carried out and our client also provides on-site security. You can expect to receive travel advice in advance of departure and an onsite airbase means that no road travel in the country is required. Candidates can also expect:

• All travel, accommodation and subsistence to be provided.
  
• Medical, travel and emergency repatriation insurance.
  
• 3 months to obtain an Iraq visa. As a result, you won’t mobilise to Iraq within 3 months of commencement, though there will be some out of country preparation work before that date.
  
• Rates are in place for in country work, UK based work and travel days.
